CaliPoints is a cannabis point reward system designed to facilitate research and data analysis of recreational and medical cannabis. CaliPoints is intended for use within the Calitopia ecosystem as a reward token with no expectation of profit or increase in value. Based on the Pulse Chain, CaliPoints aims to integrate seamlessly with brick-and-mortar businesses for everyday use.
Help prove the quantitative benefits of medical marijuana.
Has an immediate use case as a point reward system.
Can become a transactional currency for legal cannabis.
Connected to a hot cannabis data startup, Calitopia.
For every purchase made on Calitopia, we plan on offering CaliPoints to the consumer, the participating brand, and participating dispensary. We may also provide points to a non-profit dedicated to helping below poverty level cannabis patients with chronic diseases.
We reserve the right to increase or lower the amount of CaliPoints that we offer people who use Calitopia or partner sites in the future. This can make people more or less likely to utilize their CaliPoints. We intend on using token mechanics and game theory to build a big following of people who support the medical analysis of cannabis.
For every dollar that’s contributed, we are distributing 1,000 CaliPoints.
You got questions? We got answers. Here are some common questions you may have.
CaliPoints are a cannabis point reward system designed to help medical patients and to analyze data, with future aspirations to be used as a cannabis purchasing system throughout the US cannabis industry. Based on blockchain technology, it aims to be among the first cryptocurrencies that are integrated with brick and mortar businesses for everyday use. Calitopia will be a community where consumers in legal states can receive discounts and coupons for cannabis products in exchange for providing demographic data and completing customer surveys for brands and dispensaries. Calitopia is taking a very scalable approach to entering the multi-billion dollar – and soon-to-be multi-trillion dollar – cannabis data market. Users of Calitopia will earn CaliPoints in a variety of ways including redeeming coupons in dispensaries. Calipoints will be distributed to the customer, participating brand, participating dispensary, our labor fund, and to a non-profit for every purchase. People will also be able to buy Calipoints from decentralized exchanges such as Hex and others. Be careful with “labor fund” – how do we want to address it?
CaliPoints aims to further the social good by enabling the purchase of cannabis medicine for low-income patients with potentially fatal illnesses. Calitopia will dedicate a portion of each transaction to a non-profit organization responsible for providing cannabis medicine to chronically-ill patients below the poverty line. CaliPoints also helps propel Calitopia, which offers cannabis to patients free of charge, in exchange for the opportunity to study the potential medical benefits. CaliPoints will also encourage brands and dispensaries because CaliPoints is designed to give points to these entities and to use staked CaliPoints to encourage consumers to sign up as Calitopia clients. Further, the major credit card companies (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) have banned cannabis-related credit card transactions. These providers also ban debit cards from being used at the register. We’ll be on wallets once legalized.
Overall, CaliPoints aims to further the research on cannabis use, specifically with regards to healthcare. Although various case studies suggest its efficacy as a cancer treatment, U.S. law prohibits research on cannabis due to its Schedule I status – the same classification as heroin. Because this status classifies cannabis as a substance with no medical benefit, research on the effects of cannabis tend to be negatively biased, primarily investigating its negative effects and its potential for abuse and dependence – but not on its benefits. As a result, institutions conducting cannabis-based clinical trials risk losing funding, though there is a dire need for more research. In addition to cancer treatment, cannabis has also shown efficacy in treating chronic neuropathic pain; in fact, researchers concluded that cannabis and cannabis-based medicines for chronic neuropathic pain carry more benefit AND safety than other drugs – including morphine, fentanyl, and oxycodone – often used to treat the same condition. Cannabis has also been found to decrease fatigue, nausea, and headaches and migraines. One study even found that cannabis reduced symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia in over 90% of cases, with less than 3% of people reporting any increases in symptoms. The debate about cannabis as a medical treatment is ongoing and widespread. Even worse, many big-name organizations such as Purdue Pharma, Abbott Laboratories, and the DEA emphasize that cannabis carries no benefits, although medical and psychological research suggests otherwise. Other big-name companies (e.g., ), however, do the exact opposite. The debate about the benefits of cannabis is happening not just in our homes, but in our government as well. Although scientific evidence is limited due to cannabis’s Schedule I status, existing research suggests that medical cannabis research is necessary to further our understanding of the medical benefits of cannabis.

Although many cryptocurrencies preach about hypothetical use cases decades into the future, we here at Calitopia are focusing on the here and now by combining a cryptocurrency with a reward system, thereby allowing us to create a limitless amount of incentives for people to buy a company’s product. We aim to crowdsource data about the benefits of cannabis while encouraging people to contribute their data and further the science. The cannabis market has grown from XX dollars in XXXX to XX today and is expected to grow to be worth XXX by XXXX. We believe that the global cannabis industry will eventually rival the global alcohol industry to be XX times more than it is today. 21 US states allow for adults aged 21 and over to use recreational cannabis, and an additional XX states allow for medical cannabis use. Both political parties have introduced federal cannabis legalization bills, and it is only a matter of time until cannabis is legalized nationally. In 2013, Uruguay was the first country in the world to legalize cannabis. Canada legalized cannabis for adult use in 2018. Germany, which is the largest purchaser of cannabis, currently allows medical cannabis and is expected to allow adult recreational cannabis use in the very near future. Malta has already come aboard. Cannabis is decriminalized in many countries, including Thailand and the Netherlands. When the U.S. legalizes cannabis, it will prompt changes in the WTO; with the pushing of multinational companies already invested in tobacco, alcohol, and pharmaceuticals, other countries around the world will quickly legalize cannabis in the upcoming decades. The cannabis industry is growing, and we and others stress the importance of data on cannabis so that we can learn more about its effects. CaliPoints and Calitopia will help this mission by making cannabis treatment more accessible for patients by providing no-cost cannabis in return to access to their medical records. The resulting anonymized data will be aggregated and published for open-access to the international public. Altogether, CaliPoints incentivizes consumers to share with us their medical data so that we can pioneer research on its efficacy.
Investment in cryptocurrency companies allows for more programming jobs, though there is a ceiling regarding the number of programmers a company needs. Investment in CaliPoints not only expands the programming staff, but it also provides investment into Calitopia. These funds can then be used for the expanding of the Calitopia website and mobile app. CaliPoints and Calitopia will also make many friends and allies in the industry. Specifically, we will drive traffic to cannabis dispensaries and menu sites, provide data to brands, help distributors increase sales, and offer free information to the public about the medicinal value of cannabis. Given that cannabis patients have no or very little insurance coverage for their cannabis, we will also donate a portion of proceeds to [a non-profit] that treats terminally ill patients. Because we believe in the power of cannabis, we will be making these donations anyway – we invite you to jump aboard and earn CaliPoints along the way.
Given that we will be on a large amount of wallets, we can help customers make payments to dispensaries. We recognize that dispensaries do not likely have an interest in crypto as they would prefer stable money. However, CaliPoints will be converted into USD immediately when the transaction is made, and Calitopia will provide the payment transaction at the end of the day, just as a normal provider would. If someone wishes to turn their CaliPoints into cash for later use, they can do so and hold the money in their account. The world of cryptocurrency boomed because people talked about it; we aspire to do the same. We created CaliPoints to incentivize people to jump aboard. Crypto is about tokenomics / new promotions; so is marketing Crypto got big bc people talked about it; in-house system for people to talk about it Will get small amount, but we can adjust Positions us to one day help real transactions We can change amounts of crypto we give, which will change supply / demand to minimize pressure on price decreasing “Inflation” “deflation” “game theory” “tokenomics” Mention advisors for calitopia Calitopia intends to give cash back, not just crypto → have 30 days to redeem How is it going to go up? What will make it? We found a mechanism to encourage adoption by piggybacking on a company in a hot area We’re going to learn from Hex CaliPoints represents a novel cryptocurrency token with a wide range of benefits for users. One notable advantage of CaliPoints is its utility as a medium of exchange, specifically within the context of payments to dispensaries. Given the high degree of volatility associated with cryptocurrency, it is understandable that dispensaries may be reluctant to accept such forms of payment. However, CaliPoints has a mechanism in place that allows for the immediate conversion of the token into USD upon transaction completion. Our marketing approach mirrors the community-driven approach that was so instrumental in the initial success of cryptocurrency. By learning from these successes, CaliPoints can leverage proven strategies to build a robust user base. To further enhance the prospects of CaliPoints, the token is supported by a team of experienced advisors with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the cryptocurrency domain such as {list them here}. Additionally, CaliPoints is positioned to offer cash back, rather than simply cryptocurrency, to its users. This feature allows for the easy conversion of CaliPoints to cash within a limited timeframe of 30 days.
This is our path to success
Pre-Support: During this initial phase, we will accept contributions from early adopters and supporters. This phase aims to build interest and momentum for the project and incentivize people to get involved.
Support: When the market looks more amenable for support and we have generated more noise in our marketing efforts, we will launch another 19-day support period.
Launch with Calitopia: Once Calitopia is ready to launch, CaliPoints will be integrated with the platform. This phase aims to enhance the usability and utility of CaliPoints, as well as provide a comprehensive ecosystem for users to transact with the token. Additionally, exclusive NFTs and reward systems will be available to users who engage with the Calitopia platform. This phase aims to create the first practical use case for CaliPoints by helping encourage usage.
Partnerships: Building partnerships with other companies, particularly those in the cannabis industry, can increase the usability and adoption of CaliPoints. For example, we can offer our reward points for menu sites or dispensaries that in turn can utilize CaliPoints with their own point system. This phase aims to leverage the strengths of other companies and use their help to expand CaliPoints.
Payment System: Points can be used as a payment system for cannabis and cannabis coupons. This system could allow users to make transactions with points for products. This phase aims to expand the use cases and adoption of points by offering an alternative payment method for cannabis-related products and services. This will also promote the widespread adoption of our platform and points within the cannabis industry, further solidifying our position as a prominent player in the market.
Continuous Development: We will continue to work on developing and improving our platform, reward system, and points. Our team is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve in terms of technological advancements, market trends, and industry needs. We will regularly release updates, improvements, and additional features to ensure that our platform remains relevant, user-friendly, and valuable to our users and partners.
Please note that the project roadmap is subject to change, as we will continually adapt our plans to the evolving market conditions, user feedback, and technological advancements. Our priority is to provide the best possible experience for our users and ensure the success and sustainability of our platform in the long term.
